The City of Monroe owns and operates approximately 75 sewer lift stations.
An annual rehabilitation project will replace pumps, valves, electrical instrumentation/controls at several lift stations each year. Lift station wet wells will also be coated to protect against corrosion, and an emergency bypass connection will be installed in the event of a power outage. A more efficient collections and transmission system will protect the safety, health, and welfare of the public.
