Christopher Sledge, a native of Monroe, is the proud owner of Parlor 5 in Downtown Monroe, showcasing his dedication to serving the community. With a passion for craft cocktails and community engagement, Chris is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors alike to enjoy.
JaCera Francois
JaCera Francois is born and raised in Monroe, LA. She is currently serving as a Talented Arts Teacher for the Ouachita Parish School Board, serving 7 different schools in the parish. She is a 2019 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, GA and a 2023 graduate of the Leadership Ouachita program. She serves as a volunteer and member in The Lighthouse Church. Along with her career in teaching art, she is pursuing her professional career as a visual artist, creating work and participating in the City’s art exhibits, completing murals and live paintings for events. She wants to continue her involvement in the community while furthering her career as a professional artist sharing her God-given gift for creating work that expresses emotions while continuing as a Talented Arts Teacher.

Hartley Waldrop Arendsen
Hartley Waldrop Arendsen is the owner of The Good Daze, an inclusive store in Downtown Monroe that specializes in vintage clothing and local art. Along with currently serving as the Chair of the Friends of Downtown Monroe Main Street, she also serves on the board of the Downtown Arts Alliance that is responsible for hosting the Downtown Gallery Crawl. She is a passionate Gen Z-er who strives to make her community a fun, creative, and better place to live!
Ahmaad Solmone
Ahmaad Solmone is a dedicated higher education professional specializing in recruitment, orientation, campus visits, and events to enhance the prospective student experience and ensure smooth transitions to college life. In addition to his position at the University of Louisiana Monroe, Ahmaad serves as the Engagement and Access Officer for NODA – the premier association for Orientation, Transition, and Retention.
Abby Tingle
Abby Tingle is a passionate advocate for Monroe-West Monroe, using storytelling, digital strategy, and community engagement to showcase the region. As the Social Media & Website Manager at Discover Monroe-West Monroe and a Certified Tourism Marketing Professional (TMP), she blends creativity and strategy to inspire visitors and foster local pride. With a strong background in destination marketing, she has previously served as the Public Relations & Media Coordinator at Discover Monroe-West Monroe and the Content Manager at Visit Mobile.
